Heyyo people.
I've been rocking the handle Sliphtrex since high school over a decade ago, and I'm hoping one day I'll get to a point where I don't need to tell people how it's pronounced.
But for now it's "slif-treks".
Anyway, I went to college for game design when I didn't have to, dropped out halfway through, and still haven't made any money at it because I'm too stubborn to work for someone else. ;) I'm hoping to change that though and I hope you'll support me on this journey.
I enjoy game jams and have a bit of a problem with dropping projects when I get bored. To combat that I gave myself a goal. Spend an entire year with just one game to work on discipline. Then I got my friends involved so I have some tangible embarrassment if the project fails. I literally had to rebuild the entire project a month before the demo was due, and now I have 3 months left to finish the other 7 levels. No biggie. I've got this. Stay tuned for more!
