Heyyo people.
I've been rocking the handle Sliphtrex since high school over a decade ago, and I'm hoping one day I'll get to a point where I don't need to tell people how it's pronounced.
But for now it's "slif-treks".
Anyway, I went to college for game design when I didn't have to, dropped out halfway through, and still haven't made any money at it because I'm too stubborn to work for someone else. ;) I'm hoping to change that though and I hope you'll support me on this journey.
I enjoy game jams and have a bit of a problem with dropping projects when I get bored. To combat that I gave myself a goal. Spend an entire year with just one game to work on discipline. It worked. Now I have a game on steam that kinda sucks: Radley Ravencroft's Spy Web Mystery. It's not great :D. But that just makes me want to make one better than the last.
In the coming month I'm planning to upload two demos, one of which will be my next big project. Which one I choose depends on you! When both games are launched I'll be looking for engagement. The one that gets the better results will be my next focus. Ideally I'll get to make both at some point, but for the time being I only have the capacity to work on one project at a time.
Stay tuned for Red's Righteous Auto and Chess Your Luck (a.k.a. Rainy Knight's Cafe).
